Community Health Programs

Grassroots health education programs that bring essential health knowledge to underserved communities. We train local health champions who continue the mission beyond our programs.

Old Irving Park Clinic

For many years, Global FICCS has partnered with this clinic in the Irving Park neighborhood of Chicago that serves individuals and families who are uninsured. In addition to training the clinic staff in first aid, CPR, and ACLS, we provide monthly free cardiac consultation and testing services.

Magadi, Maasai, Shompole Ranch, Kajiado District

Global FICCS was introduced to this community after a devastating drought and community crisis in 2009. We provided food, mosquito nets, and medical supplies and expanded to fully support the Oloika primary school in 2017. Each year, we provide tuition for 15 young women to attend primary school along with scholarships for higher-level education for two women.

Mathare Community Schools

Global FICCS extended its reach to the Mathare community school program following a recognized need for urgent emergency response within high-density urban environments. By integrating life-saving skills directly into the educational framework, we provide comprehensive first aid and emergency preparedness training to students and faculty. Each year, we equip over 50 young learners with foundational medical skills and certify teachers as first responders, ensuring that the school remains a safe haven and a hub for community resilience
