Caroline's journey is a remarkable testament to resilience and the transformative power of education and support.

Caroline’s remarkable journey is a testament to resilience and the transformative power of education and support. Born and raised in Kenya, she faced significant challenges due to her family’s financial constraints, which made pursuing secondary education seem like an insurmountable task.

However, Caroline’s mother, fueled by determination and resourcefulness, found a way. With the help of a loan from a women’s group, Caroline was able to attend school against all odds. Her path was not easy—she persevered through hardships, including being sent home due to unpaid fees. Undeterred, she even sneaked back into school to continue her education.

Her commitment paid off when she was selected for educational support through the FAl organization. This opportunity allowed her to complete her high school education, a significant achievement in a community where many young people lose hope and drop out by the age of 13.

But Caroline’s journey didn’t end there. She continued to face obstacles, yet her determination to pursue further education in information technology remained unshaken. Thanks to Global FICCS, she received sponsorship and successfully completed her college program in 2019. Throughout her educational journey, Caroline volunteered with Global FICCS, assisting with first aid training and other office tasks.

Her dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment led to her promotion within the organization. Today, she serves as a Program Manager, working tirelessly to empower and educate her community. Caroline’s story serves as a beacon of hope—a testament to the transformative impact of education and support. She continues to inspire others, showing that with determination and the right assistance, dreams can indeed be achieved.‍

I finished high school and didn't know what to do because I did not have funds for more education. Global FICCS offered me a scholarship to study computer science and marketing and I earned an opportunity to intern with Global FICCS. Today, I am the Program Manager of Global FICCS.
